It will be possible to replace these cartridges with specific cartridges as needed.

How does our 4 stage under sink water filtration system work?

Our 4-stage under-sink water filtration system offers many benefits.

Cartridge 1: The 5 micron filter cartridge

The first stage of our 4 stage under sink water filtration system is a 5 micron polypropylene cartridge. This cartridge removes impurities such as sand, mud and rust particles. It is able to filter out particles larger than 5 microns, which means that larger impurities will be trapped at this stage. This preliminary step ensures that subsequent cartridges perform more efficiently.

Cartridge 2: The granular activated carbon cartridge

The second stage of our 4 stage under sink water filtration system is the granular activated carbon cartridge. This cartridge is designed to massively reduce chlorine and odors from tap water. By passing from bottom to top, the water will remain in contact with the activated carbon for a long time. It is this cartridge that can be replaced by an activated carbon cartridge with KDF55 or a special cartridge for certain substances.

Cartridge 3: The block activated carbon cartridge

The third stage of our 4 stage under sink water filtration system uses a 10 micron block activated carbon cartridge. This cartridge goes to reduce pesticides and bad tastes in the water. Pesticides can be present in drinking water due to the use of agricultural chemicals, and this filtration step is designed to reduce these contaminants. It can be replaced by a carbon cartridge designed to better treat pesticides or a cartridge to filter more chlorine and chloramine present in the water.

Cartridge 4: The ultra-filtering cartridge of 0.2 micron in line

The fourth and final stage of our 4-stage under-sink water filtration system uses a 0.2 micron membrane cartridge, placed horizontally below conventional filters. This cartridge eliminates bacteria and viruses from tap water which may be poorly disinfected depending on the time of year.

Our under sink water filtration system is equipped with a premium faucet that will be installed on your sink, next to your regular faucet. The faucet is equipped with an ergonomic handle for easy operation. The faucet opening handle works with a ceramic disc designed to last a very long time.
