The Pentek 255491-43 ECP20-BB Pleated Polyester Cellulose Cartridge provides superior filtration for residential and commercial water. This pleated cellulose polyester filter cartridge reduces sand, dirt, silt, rust and scale particles in water with a nominal filtration rate of 20 microns. This water filtration cartridge is designed to replace Pentek CP and HFCP series cartridges, with greater moisture resistance than regular cellulose cartridges. The unique blend of materials used to manufacture it provides high dirt holding capacity, while maintaining extremely low pressure drop. The cartridge is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength and the ends are immersed in a thermosetting vinyl plastisol for optimal integration and sealing. This rugged, reusable filter cartridge is intended for use in a variety of applications including drinking water purification, irrigation, and industrial processes, among others
