This type of cartridge retains all the materials in suspension above 5 micron.

It filters : sand, dust , mud, algae , mildew , pollen...

Made from polypropylene microfibers agglomerated cartridges resist temperatures up to 60°C continuously.
This is the cheapest in its class, to minimize the cost of consumables.

It may filter certain fluids with an acidic pH close to pH of 1. ( Make tests before)

It is also used on a drilling or recovery of rainwater , if you install a prefilter 25 or 50 micron filter upstream to larger materials.
This cartridge makes the water clearer.
