Food Fitting: How to Make Hard-to-Reach Repairs Easier.

When you need to replace a worn or punctured hose in a hard-to-reach place, finding the right fitting can be a real headache. Luckily, there are specially designed food fittings to make these tricky repairs easier.

The Technical Details of the Food Fitting

The food fitting in question has one side with a 1/4 inch barb and the other with an 8 mm smooth tail. It is ideal for going from a fixing by the inside of the 8 mm tube of the fridge cut by wear to a new 8 mm tube. The smooth part of the connector will fit into a 5/16 inch or 8 mm quick connector which will leave with a diameter of your choice.

How to Use the Barbed Food Connector?

To use the food connector, just follow these steps:

• Cut the damaged pipe at the area to be repaired.
• Insert the barbed side of the fitting into the end of the existing tubing.
• Insert the other end of the fitting into the new pipe.
• Secure everything using a 5/16 inch or 8 mm quick connect.
