Acidic water, with a pH below 7, can cause problems such as corrosion of pipes, stubborn stains on surfaces and even an unpleasant "metallic" taste. It is necessary to have a pH between 6.5 and 9. To raise the pH with a flow rate greater than 800 L/H, cartridges with calcium carbonate are no longer effective.
