Ultra-violet sterilizer 12 GPM for 20/27 pipe for the bacteriological treatment of water for domestic or business use.

It destroys all living organisms in raw water or rainwater that will be used to supply water to a dwelling, a clinic for WC, shower or washing machines.
It has a UV lamp of 39W Aquapro which is capable of treating a flow rate on a standard 3/4 inch pipe.

It is recommended to install a 5-micron sediment filter before the unit to ensure clean water all the time of treatment.
The sterilizer must be connected to the cold water line and linked exclusively to defective switch.

This device is installed after a filter system with filter-housing 9 3/4 inches or 20 inches depending on the type of cartridges that one wishes to use.

The ultraviolet radiation generates at 253.7 nanometers.

The water quality is extremely important for optimal performance of your UV system. The following levels are recommended for installation :
_ TOTAL IRON rate is less than 0.3ppm (0.3 mg/l)
_ Rate of SULPHIDE HYDROGEN is less than 0.05ppm (0.05 mg/l)
_ Rate SUSPENDED MATTER is less than 10ppm (10 mg/l)
_ MANGANESE rate is less than 0.05ppm (0.05 mg/l)
_ HARDNESS is less than the 7 gpg (more than 7 gpg, water must be softened.)

Viruses, that are found in water, are the cause of hepatitis (hepatitis A and E).
Therefore, water or air passing through the chamber is exposed to ultraviolet germicidal which disables the genetic material of microorganisms. This prevents them from reproducing and renders them harmless.
