Ecological pheromone-based treatment specifically designed for the butterfly of the oak processionary caterpillar.

The principle is to use the attractant of the female to trap the male in a reusable trap to hang, in order to avoid the laying of eggs that will give future caterpillars.
It is a moth that eats oak leaves.
The pheromone capsule should be used in the basket of a trap attached to a low branch of the tree. Place one trap per isolated tree and one every three trees when grouped together. The trap must be emptied regularly to maintain maximum efficiency throughout the season from the end of June to the end of September. The purpose of the capsule is to reduce the population of male moths, to reduce the appearance of caterpillars.
This method of trapping is ecological and respectful of the environment.

Once the butterfly flight period is over, simply remove the traps for reuse the following year.
