It has a brass head with a steel collar to reinforce it.
This hose is required to connect the water supply to the filter holder into 3/4 inch.
It is used for large flow, to maintain the high throughput of your pipeline.
It can withstand up to 12 bar pressure.
The fact that it's male - female allows you to plug directly into the inlet side of the filter holder 10 or 20 inches you have installed.
