This specific treatment station is suitable for consumption of more than 4 liters of water per day or at a nitrate level found to be higher than 22 mg / L, because beyond that, the cartridge change of a conventional under-sink purifier will cost more expensive than this system with manual regeneration of the resin.
It is installed in a kitchen cabinet or in a recess in the kitchen on the cold water system. The connection is 1/2 inch, so it is suitable for all 3/8 inch copper pipes.
It connects to the plumbing fittings. There is no need for electricity to make it work, since a button starts regeneration immediately.
It consumes only 720 grams of salts by regeneration. It is a monoblock system with waterproof hood.
The 6 liters of special E520 nitrate resin are able to retain 100000 nitrate molecules present in the water. If you have a nitrate level of 50 mg / L, your resin must be regenerated every 2000 liters (2 m3).
The resin can be used for about 3 years to 4 years depending on the frequency of regenerations. Then you can replace it cheaply.
