WASHABLE CARTRIDGE 3 MICRONS PP + POYESTER 20 P

Special 508 mm fine particle cartridge for filtering city water and spring water.

It is compatible with all classic 20 inch filters with a 3/4 and 1 inch inlet. It will retain the finest impurities present in the water greater than 3 microns. Pre-filtration should be provided beforehand to avoid too rapid clogging. It can be placed just before a 1 or 0.5 micron block carbon cartridge to optimize the treatment of pesticides, herbicides for spring water.

The cartridge is covered with a polypropylene shell to maintain the polyester folds, in order to increase the filtration surface. The folds are fixed on a rigid polypropylene axle thus ensuring stability.
When the water arrives on the cartridge, the filtration surface is optimal, as the pleats do not move, which increases the filtration performance by 30% compared to a low cost pleated cartridge.
It is possible to clean the folds of the cartridge through the shell, but thanks to its low cost, it can be replaced, after several washes, when the polyester is too saturated with fat. This results in longer life and greater efficiency than similar cartridges.
Thanks to its compatibility with many chemicals, polyester can be used in specific applications.
