It is advisable to place it after a 10 or 5 micron pre-filter on a filter station, in order to prolong the life of this cartridge.
In general, it is used last before the water enters a machine.
This cartridge with pleated membranes can not replace a cartridge of 0.2 micron absolute in a medical environment.
It is standard size, so can be installed in a large number of 9 3/4 inch filter housings.
It can filter all types of food liquids, such as oil, wine or syrups.
