Juraperl carbonate crystals are used to treat rainwater and acidic water, in order to neutralize the pH. It will fill one 20 inch Big Blue cartridge or two 10 inch cartridges.
It is advisable to install a calcium carbonate cartridge for rainwater filtration, even if it is stored for several weeks in a concrete tank.

This natural granular media prevents the formation of corrosion in the pipes of the house for consumption. We can find acidic water after drilling or in rainwater storage. This water must be able to remain stable all year round. Acidic water creates stains in showers, sinks, and other appliances. In addition, it can leave a "metallic" taste when showering.

Juraperle JW is a granular filter media with a purity of 99.1% calcium carbonate. Due to its micro-saline structure, it is superior to ordinary limestone. Juraperle retains its pH adjusting activity even after removing high concentrations of iron and manganese.
The very fine structure of Juraperle dissolves slowly during the passage of water.
This cartridge corrects the pH of the water by keeping it between 7 and 7.5 all year round.

Juraperle JW is used :
- CO2 removal and remineralisation of freshwater
- Remineralization of the distillate and the R.O.
- Elimination of iron, manganese and also aluminum
