The granulated activated carbon in this cartridge will hold some water pollutants such as chlorine, insecticides, pesticides, THMs and bad taste.
Osmosis cartridge brand or Aquapro Aquariopure.
Essential to have clear water and good quality.
 
The fact that activated carbon removes contaminants from water by adsorption and catalytic reduction is due to a process involving the attraction of negative ions of contaminants by positively charged ions of carbon. Organic compounds are removed by adsorption and residual disinfectants such as chlorine and chloramines are removed by catalytic reduction.
The filtration of water by activated carbon can also reduce or eliminate the bad taste and odor.
 
The cartridge is changed once a year or 9000 liters.
